How to Reset Your Email Password

These instructions outline how to change your email password if your webmail interface uses the Roundcube application.

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to your webmail login page yourdomain.com/webmail. Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
  2. Enter your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com) and your current password in the login form.
  3. Click the "Login" or a similar button to access your webmail inbox.
  4. Once you are logged into Roundcube, look for a "Webmail Home" option on the left side panel. Click on it.
  5. In the Settings or Configuration menu, look for a section related to "Password & Security". Click on this option.
  6. You will now see a form with the following fields:
    • New Password: Enter the new password you want to use for your email account. Choose a strong and unique password.
    • Confirm New Password: Re-enter the new password exactly as you typed it in the previous field to ensure it matches.
  7. Carefully fill in all three fields. Make sure the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" fields match exactly.
  8. Click the "Save", "Change Password", or a similar button to update your email password.
  9. You should see a confirmation message indicating that your password has been successfully changed.
  10. You can now log out of webmail and use your new password to access your email account through webmail or any other email client (like Outlook, Thunderbird, or your phone's email app).
